These bite-sized stuffing balls are crispy on the outside, moist inside, and packed with classic holiday flavors. Perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or even a post-holiday snack!
Ingredients:
• 2 cups cooked turkey, finely chopped
• 3 cups stuffing (leftover or freshly made)
• 1 egg, beaten
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• ¼ cup chicken or turkey broth (as needed for moisture)
• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
• ½ teaspoon garlic powder
• ½ teaspoon onion powder
• ½ teaspoon dried sage (optional)
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (for a crispier texture)
• 2 tablespoons butter, melted
• Cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine turkey, stuffing, egg, Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, sage, salt, and pepper. Add broth gradually until mixture holds together but isn’t too wet.
3. Form Balls: Roll mixture into golf ball-sized rounds (about 1 ½ inches).
4. Coat with Breadcrumbs: Roll each ball in panko for extra crunch.
5. Bake: Arrange on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle melted butter over them. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
6. Serve: Enjoy warm with cranberry sauce, gravy, or a creamy dipping sauce!
