Ingredients:
For the Cake:
• 2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour
• 2 ½ tsp baking powder

• 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
• 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar

• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
For the Frosting:
• 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
• 4 cups (480g) powdered sugar
• 2 tbsp heavy cream or milk
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat & Prepare
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans or line them with parchment paper.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Step 3: Cream Butter & Sugar
In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
Step 4: Add Eggs & Vanilla
Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.
