Sweet Cinnamon Air Fryer Banana Chips

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Sweet Cinnamon Air Fryer Banana Chips:

Ingredients:

• 2 ripe but firm bananas (not overly ripe)

• 1 tbsp lemon juice (prevents browning)

• 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional for extra sweetness)

• ½ tsp ground cinnamon

• ¼ tsp salt (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set it to 300°F (150°C).

2. Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them thinly (about ⅛ inch thick) for crispy chips.

3. Coat the Slices: In a bowl, mix the banana slices with lemon juice, honey (if using), and cinnamon. Toss gently to coat evenly.

4. Arrange in the Air Fryer: Place the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping to ensure even cooking.

5. Air Fry: Cook at 300°F (150°C) for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. If they aren’t crispy yet, air fry in 2-minute increments until desired crispiness is reached.

6. Cool and Enjoy: Let them cool on a wire rack; they will crisp up more as they cool.

Tips:

• Use firm bananas to avoid mushy chips.

• Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

• For extra crunch, air fry a few extra minutes but watch closely to prevent burning.
