Here’s a fun and tasty recipe for Spinach Dip Cheese Crisps — crunchy, cheesy, and packed with creamy spinach dip flavor in every bite!
Spinach Dip Cheese Crisps
Ingredients:
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
• 1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach (thawed and squeezed dry)
• 2 oz cream cheese (softened)
• 1 small garlic clove, minced (or 1/4 tsp garlic powder)
• 1 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
• Salt & pepper to taste
• Optional: pinch of crushed red pepper or onion powder
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
2. Make Spinach Dip Mixture:
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, chopped spinach, garlic, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
3. Assemble Crisps:
• On the baking sheet, make small mounds (about 1 tbsp each) of the shredded mozzarella + parmesan combined.
• Gently flatten into circles.
• Add a small spoonful of the spinach dip mixture on top of each cheese circle.
• Sprinkle a tiny bit of cheese on top to “seal” it.
4. Bake:
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until edges are golden and crisp.
5. Cool:
Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5–10 minutes — they’ll crisp up more as they cool.
Tips:
• Serve as a snack, party appetizer, or low-carb chip alternative.
• Want extra flavor? Add a bit of ranch seasoning or finely chopped artichoke.
