Spicy Crawfish Alfredo Lasagna

This Spicy Crawfish Alfredo Lasagna is a rich, creamy, and spicy Cajun-inspired dish that combines crawfish, Alfredo sauce, and layers of cheesy goodness!

Ingredients

For the Crawfish Alfredo Sauce:

• 2 tablespoons butter

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

• ½ cup onion, finely chopped

• ½ cup bell pepper, finely chopped (red or green)

• 3 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 pound crawfish tails (peeled and cooked)

• 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

• ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

• ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra spice)

• 1 ½ cups heavy cream

• ½ cup chicken or seafood broth

• 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

• ½ cup cream cheese, softened

• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

• Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Lasagna Layers:

• 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

• 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

• ½ cup ricotta or cottage cheese (optional for extra creaminess)

For Garnish:

• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

• ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Crawfish Alfredo Sauce

1. In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.

2. Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté until soft (about 3-4 minutes).

3. Stir in the crawfish tails, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2 minutes.

4. Pour in the heavy cream and broth, stirring well. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.

5. Add Parmesan cheese and cream cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper. Stir in fresh parsley, then remove from heat.

Step 2: Assemble the Lasagna

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Spread a thin layer of the crawfish Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

3. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.

3. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
