Simple No-Knead Bread Recipe

Here’s an easy No-Knead Bread recipe that gives you a crusty, artisan-style loaf with minimal effort!

Ingredients

• 3 cups all-purpose or bread flour

• 1 ½ teaspoons salt

• ½ teaspoon instant yeast

• 1 ½ cups warm water (about 110°F)

Instructions

1. Mix the Dough:

• In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and yeast.

• Add the warm water and stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until a shaggy dough forms.

• Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a towel and let it sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours (overnight is best).

2. Shape the Dough:

• After the dough has risen and looks bubbly, lightly flour a surface and your hands.

• Gently turn out the dough and shape it into a rough ball (no kneading needed!).

• Place it on parchment paper and let it rest for about 30 minutes while you preheat the oven.

3. Preheat the Oven & Pot:

• Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

• Place a Dutch oven (or any oven-safe pot with a lid) inside the oven while it heats up.

4. Bake the Bread:

• Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven, place the parchment paper with the dough inside, and cover with the lid.

• Bake covered for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

5. Cool & Enjoy:

• Let the bread cool on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before slicing.

This bread is crusty on the outside, soft and airy inside—perfect for sandwiches, toast, or dipping in soup! Let me know if you want variations (like adding herbs, cheese, or whole wheat flour).
