Key Lime Pie

Here’s a classic Key Lime Pie recipe that’s simple and delicious!

Ingredients

For the crust:

• 1 ½ cups (150g) graham cracker crumbs

• ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar

• 6 tbsp (85g) unsalted butter, melted

For the filling:

• 1 can (14 oz/400g) sweetened condensed milk

• 4 large egg yolks

• ½ cup (120ml) key lime juice (freshly squeezed or bottled)

• 1 tbsp key lime zest (optional for extra flavor)

For the whipped topping:

• 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream

• 2 tbsp powdered sugar

• ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the crust:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.

3. Press the mixture into a 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish, covering the bottom and sides evenly.

4. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool.

1. In a bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, key lime juice, and zest until smooth.

2. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.

3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-18 minutes until the center is set but still slightly wobbly.
