Juicy Pineapple Heaven Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice (do not drain)
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

Optional Toppings (as pictured):

  • Pineapple chunks or rings
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Shredded coconut

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the dry angel food cake mix with the entire can of crushed pineapple (including juice) in a large bowl. The mixture will foam up a bit — that’s normal.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool completely, then spread the whipped topping over the cake.
  6. Top with extras like pineapple chunks, cherries, and coconut, if desired.
  7. Chill in the fridge before serving for best flavor and texture.
