Here’s a simple recipe for Lemon Cream Cheese Dumplings:

Ingredients:

Dough:

• 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

• ½ teaspoon salt

• ½ cup water

• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Filling:

• 4 oz (½ cup) cream cheese, softened

• 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

• 1 teaspoon lemon zest

• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping (optional):

• 2 tablespoons melted butter

• 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

• Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

1. Make the dough: Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Add water and oil, knead until smooth. Cover and rest for 30 minutes.

2. Prepare the filling: Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla until smooth.

3. Assemble dumplings: Roll out dough thinly, cut into circles, place a small amount of filling in the center, fold and seal edges.

4. Cook: Steam for 8–10 minutes or boil until they float.

5. Serve: Drizzle with melted butter and honey, dust with powdered sugar if desired.
