Easy Cheesy Pizza Pockets

Ingredients:

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices (optional)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Olive oil or nonstick spray (for baking tray)

Optional Fillings:

  • Cooked sausage, diced veggies, mushrooms, or olives

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Cut dough into rectangles (around 4×6 inches works well).
