Easy Peach Cobbler (A Cup, A Cup, A Cup Cobbler)

Here’s the classic and super simple “A Cup, A Cup, A Cup” Peach Cobbler recipe — made famous by its easy-to-remember measurements:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
  • 1 (15 oz) can of sliced peaches in syrup (or fresh peaches if you prefer)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a 9×9-inch or similar-sized baking dish by placing it in the oven while it preheats.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and milk. Stir until smooth — don’t overmix.
  4. Once the butter is melted, pour the batter into the dish on top of the butter. Do not stir.
  5. Spoon the peaches (with their syrup if using canned) evenly over the batter. Again, do not stir.
  6. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.

The batter rises up and around the peaches, creating that magic cobbler effect.

Optional: Sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg on top before baking for extra flavor.
