Crispy Air Fryer Apple Fries Recipe

  1. Ingredients:
    1. Apples: 2-3 firm apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled
    2. Spices: 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp salt
    3. Sugar: 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
    4. Lemon Juice: 1 tbsp freshly squeezed
    5. Coating: 1/2 cup oat flour/panko breadcrumbs
  2. Instructions:
    1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
    2. Slice apples into 1/2-inch thick fries.
    3. Mix spices and sugar.
    4. Coat apple fries in oat flour/panko breadcrumbs and spice mixture.
    5. Air fry in batches for 5-7 minutes, shaking halfway.
    6. Glaze with lemon juice (optional).

    1. Choose firm apples.
    2. Adjust spice to taste.
    3. Drizzle with honey/caramel for sweetness.
