Crack Cake Recipe

This ultra-moist, buttery cake is made with a cake mix, infused with wine, and topped with a delicious buttery glaze.

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

• 1 box yellow cake mix

• 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

• 1 tbsp cinnamon

• 4 large eggs

• ½ cup vegetable oil

• 1 cup water

• ½ cup white wine (like Chardonnay or Moscato)

• ½ cup granulated sugar

For the Butter Glaze:

• ½ cup butter

• 1 cup granulated sugar

• ¼ cup white wine

• ¼ cup water

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven – Set to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.

2. Mix Cake Batter – In a large bowl, mix cake mix, pudding mix, cinnamon, sugar, eggs, oil, water, and wine. Beat until smooth.

3. Bake – Pour batter into the bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

4. Make Butter Glaze – In a saucepan, melt butter, then add sugar, wine, and water. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

5. Glaze the Cake – While the cake is still warm, poke holes with a skewer and slowly pour the butter glaze over it. Let it soak for at least 20 minutes before removing from the pan.

6. Serve – Slice and enjoy!
