Condensed Milk & Cinnamon Doughnut Puffs
Ingredients:
For the Doughnut Puffs:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Oil, for frying
For Coating & Drizzle:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (or more for drizzling)
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to about 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and vanilla. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (batter should be thick but spoonable).
- Drop spoonfuls (about 1 tbsp each) of batter into the hot oil. Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes per side or until golden brown and puffed.
