Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza made with Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
1 can of crescent roll dough (8 oz)
1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
1 tablespoon of flour (for dusting)
Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare the Crescent Roll dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it out on the prepared baking sheet. Pinch the seams together to form a solid, rectangular dough base.
Brush with butter: Brush the melted butter evenly over the entire surface of the dough.
Make the cinnamon-sugar mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and ground cinnamon.
Top the dough: Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
Bake: Place the dough in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Optional – Add vanilla: Once out of the oven, you can drizzle the cinnamon-sugar pizza with a little vanilla extract for extra flavor.
Cool and Serve: Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before slicing. Slice into wedges or squares and enjoy!
