Chocolate Walnut Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (or your choice of nuts)
  • Optional: Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the pan: Line an 8×8-inch square pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Melt the chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until the mixture is melted and smooth.
  3. Add vanilla and nuts: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, nuts, and a pinch of salt (if using).
  4. Pour into the pan: Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Slice and serve: Lift the fudge out using the parchment paper, cut it into squares, and enjoy!
