Blueberry Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

• 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

• 1 tsp lemon juice

• Pinch of salt

• 1/4 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)

Instructions:

1. Cook the blueberries:

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, honey/maple syrup, cinnamon (if using), lemon juice, and salt.

Cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the berries burst and the mixture thickens slightly.

2. Cool slightly:

Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

3. Blend with butter:

Add the softened butter to a food processor or blender. Pour in the blueberry mixture and blend until smooth and creamy.

4. Chill and serve:

Transfer to a jar or container and refrigerate for at least an hour to firm up.

Keeps in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for longer storage.
