Condensed Milk & Cinnamon Doughnut Puffs

Ingredients:

For the Doughnut Puffs:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Oil, for frying

For Coating & Drizzle:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (or more for drizzling)

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to about 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and vanilla. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (batter should be thick but spoonable).
  4. Drop spoonfuls (about 1 tbsp each) of batter into the hot oil. Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes per side or until golden brown and puffed.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  6. While warm, roll in cinnamon-sugar to coat.
  7. Drizzle with sweetened condensed milk just before serving.
