Apple Salad

Here’s a simple and delicious Apple Salad recipe:

Classic Apple Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 apples (any variety you like – Fuji, Gala, or Granny Smith work great), chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (to prevent browning)
  • 1/2 cup celery, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
  • 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or mayonnaise (or a mix of both)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prep the apples: Chop the apples and toss them with lemon juice in a large bowl to keep them fresh and crisp.
  2. Mix: Add celery, nuts, and raisins/cranberries.
  3. Dress it up: In a small bowl, mix yogurt (or mayo), honey (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour over the salad.
  4. Combine: Gently stir everything together until coated.
  5. Chill (optional): Let it sit in the fridge for 15–30 minutes to meld the flavors.
  6. Serve: Great as a side dish or a light lunch!
