  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • For the filling:
  • 1 (3 oz) package of Jell-O (choose a pastel color like lime, strawberry, or lemon for Easter)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 (8 oz) container of whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • For topping (optional):
  • Additional whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Make the crust:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  1. Prepare the Jell-O filling:
  • In a large bowl, dissolve the Jell-O powder in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  • Add the cold water and stir to combine.
  • Refrigerate the Jell-O mixture for about 20-30 minutes, or until it starts to thicken slightly (it should be the consistency of egg whites).
  1. Combine Jell-O with whipped topping:
  • Gently fold the whipped topping into the slightly thickened Jell-O until fully combined and smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into the cooled graham cracker crust.
  1. Chill:
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  1. Decorate and serve:
  • Before serving, add extra whipped topping and decorate with Easter-themed sprinkles, candies, or fresh fruit.
