Easter Jell-O Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- For the crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter

- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions
- Make the crust:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie dish, covering the bottom and sides.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
- Prepare the Jell-O filling:
- In a large bowl, dissolve the Jell-O powder in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
- Add the cold water and stir to combine.
- Refrigerate the Jell-O mixture for about 20-30 minutes, or until it starts to thicken slightly (it should be the consistency of egg whites).
- Combine Jell-O with whipped topping:
- Gently fold the whipped topping into the slightly thickened Jell-O until fully combined and smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the cooled graham cracker crust.
- Chill:
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Decorate and serve:
- Before serving, add extra whipped topping and decorate with Easter-themed sprinkles, candies, or fresh fruit.
