Ingredients
For the Apple Mixture:
• 2 medium apples (peeled, cored, and diced)
• 2 tbsp granulated sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
For the Cinnamon Swirl:
• ⅓ cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
For the Bread Batter:
• ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 ¾ tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ cup milk
For the Glaze:
• ½ cup powdered sugar
• 1-2 tbsp milk
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven & Prepare the Pan
• Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
• Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the Apple Mixture
• In a small bowl, mix the chopped apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
3. Make the Cinnamon Swirl
• In another bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
4. Prepare the Batter
• In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
• Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
• In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
• Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, until fully combined.
5. Assemble the Bread
• Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan.
• Sprinkle half of the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter.
• Add half of the apple mixture on top.
• Repeat with the remaining batter, cinnamon swirl, and apples.
• Lightly swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
6. Bake
• Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
• Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
7. Make the Glaze & Serve
• In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
• Drizzle over the warm bread and enjoy!
