Sausage Hashbrown Casserole Recipe

A cheesy, comforting breakfast casserole perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients:

For the casserole:

• 1 lb (450g) breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)

• 1 bag (20 oz / 560g) frozen hashbrowns, thawed

• 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

• ½ cup mozzarella cheese (optional)

• 6 large eggs

• 1 cup milk

• ½ cup sour cream

• 1 tsp salt

• ½ tsp black pepper

• ½ tsp garlic powder

• ½ tsp onion powder

• ½ tsp paprika

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.

Step 2: Cook the Sausage

1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned.

2. Drain excess grease and set aside.

Step 3: Mix the Ingredients

1. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

2. Add the thawed hashbrowns, cooked sausage, and cheddar cheese.

3. Mix everything well and pour into the prepared baking dish.

Step 4: Bake the Casserole

1. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

2. Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!

• Garnish with fresh parsley or extra cheese if desired.

• Serve warm with your favorite breakfast sides!
