Creamy  Bacon Chicken

Here’s an easy and delicious Creamy Bacon Chicken recipe!

Ingredients:

• 2 large chicken breasts (cut in half lengthwise) or 4 small chicken breasts

• Salt & pepper, to taste

• ½ teaspoon garlic powder

• 4 slices bacon, chopped

• 1 tablespoon butter

• 1 cup heavy cream

• ½ cup chicken broth

• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions:

1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside. Leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the pan.

2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

3. Sear the chicken in the bacon grease and olive oil over medium-high heat for 5 minutes per side or until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

4. Make the creamy sauce: Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds.

5. Add broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

6. Return the chicken to the pan and simmer for another 5–7 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens.

7. Stir in the bacon, then serve hot!

Serving ideas: Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, or with a side of veggies.
