Easy  Peach  Dumplings

Here’s an easy Peach Dumplings recipe using crescent rolls and soda for a sweet, buttery treat!

Ingredients:

• 2 large peaches (or 1 can of peach halves, drained)

• 2 (8-ounce) cans crescent roll dough

• 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted

• 1 cup granulated sugar

• ½ cup brown sugar

• 1 teaspoon cinnamon

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1 can (12 ounces) lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7UP)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Peel and slice peaches into 8 wedges (or use canned peach halves, cutting each into 4 slices).

3. Unroll crescent dough and wrap each peach slice in a triangle of dough, sealing the edges. Place in the baking dish.

4. In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until well combined.

5. Pour the butter mixture over the wrapped peaches.

6. Pour the lemon-lime soda around the edges of the dish (not directly on top of the dumplings).

7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

8. Let cool slightly, then serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
