Here’s a quick and easy Cajun Honey Butter Salmon recipe—spicy, sweet, and full of flavor!
Ingredients:
• 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra color)
• Salt & black pepper (to taste)
For the Honey Butter Sauce:
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
• 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
• 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
Instructions:
1. Season the salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry. Rub them with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
2. Sear the salmon: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes until crispy. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
3. Make the sauce: In the same pan, reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter, honey, garlic, lemon juice, and Cajun seasoning. Stir until butter melts and sauce thickens slightly (about 1 minute).
4. Glaze the salmon: Return the salmon to the pan, spoon the sauce over the fillets, and cook for 1 more minute.
5. Serve immediately with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
