Deli-Style Chicken Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded (rotisserie or boiled)

• ½ cup mayonnaise (adjust to taste)

• 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional, for extra tang)

• ½ cup celery, finely chopped

• ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped

• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

• 1 teaspoon lemon juice (for brightness)

• ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

• Salt and black pepper to taste

• ¼ cup sliced almonds or chopped pecans (optional, for crunch)

• ½ cup red grapes, halved (optional, for a sweet contrast)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken

• Use leftover rotisserie chicken or cook chicken breasts (boiled, baked, or grilled).

• Dice or shred the chicken into small pieces.

2. Mix the Dressing

• In a large bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

3. Combine Everything
