• 1 small onion, diced

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 jar (24 oz) pizza sauce or marinara sauce

• 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained

• 1 tsp Italian seasoning

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp black pepper

• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 1 cup sliced pepperoni

• 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook Pasta – Boil the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

3. Cook Meat – In a large skillet, cook the ground beef (or sausage) with diced onion over medium heat. Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.

4. Mix Sauce – Stir in the pizza sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

5. Assemble Casserole – In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta, half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.

6. Top with Cheese & Pepperoni – Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top and arrange pepperoni slices evenly.

7. Bake – Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Serve – Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
