Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). - Brown the Meat:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat if needed. - Combine Ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix the browned meat, frozen vegetables, diced potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. If using, add the drained diced tomatoes. - Transfer to Casserole Dish:
Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish. Spread it evenly. - Bake:
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 45 minutes. - Add Cheese:
Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and return to the oven. Bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. - Cool and Serve:
