Baked  Crab Legs in  ButterSauce

Ingredients

  1. Crab Legs: 1-2 pounds frozen or fresh snow crab legs, thawed
  2. Butter Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  1. Garnishes:
  • Fresh parsley or chives
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare crab: Rinse crab legs under cold water; pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Make Butter Sauce: Mix butter, garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning (if using), salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Assemble: Place crab legs in a shallow baking dish; brush generously with Butter Sauce.
  5. Bake: 8-10 minutes or until crab is heated through and flaky.
  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley or chives; serve with lemon wedges.

  1. Garlic Parmesan: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and minced garlic on top before baking.
  2. Spicy: Add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to Butter Sauce.
  3. Lemon-Herb: Mix in 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or parsley into Butter Sauce.
  4. White Wine: Replace lemon juice with 1 tablespoon white wine.
