Ingredients:
• 1 cup (200g) dark chocolate or milk chocolate, chopped
• 1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for easier melting)
Instructions:
1. Melt the Chocolate:
Place the chopped chocolate and coconut oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15-20 second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth. Alternatively, you can melt it using a double boiler on the stove.
2. Prepare a Piping Bag:
Transfer the melted chocolate to a piping bag or a small ziplock bag. Snip a tiny hole at the tip.
3. Pipe the Chips:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pipe small dots of chocolate onto the sheet to form chip shapes.
4. Set the Chips:
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator or freezer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate chips harden.
5. Store:
Transfer the chocolate chips to an airtight container and store them in the fridge or a cool, dry place.
Use them in cookies, muffins, or any recipe that calls for chocolate chips!
