Savvy Chicken Pleasure Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Season the chicken breasts on both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear the Chicken:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
    • Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits.
    • Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, thyme, and basil.
    • Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Add Vegetables:
    • Stir in spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Cook until the spinach wilts.
  5. Combine and Serve:
    • Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
    • Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Plate and Enjoy:
    • Serve the chicken with the creamy sauce over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta for a complete meal.
